Description

Lying on homogeneous soils of granite containing large crystals, Fleurie is often regarded as the « Queen of Beaujolais ». The wines are characterized by abounding finesse and elegance with floral aromas of irises and violets. Appellation size: 871 ha

Winemaking

Traditional vinification with controlled temperature.

Tasting note

Fleurie 2008 reveals a very pleasant nose dominated by red fruits and white blossoms. On the palate, subtle notes of leather and licorice round out the nose. A vivacious, lively, round and perfectly-balanced wine that will charm you with its elegance.
