Description

The vineyard lies on very hard granite and green-blue schist called Diorite. This is also the oldest vineyard in Beaujolais producing a more structured wine than its neighbour Brouilly. Appellation size: 315 ha

Winemaking

Traditional vinification with controlled temperature.

Tasting note

The Côte de Brouilly reveals a beautiful nose of red fruits. In the mouth, the tannins are elegant and the wine is lively. Aromas of fresh red fruits lightly spicy, with a good length.

Suggested food pairings

Wild game, meat dishes with sauces, roasts, charcuterie and cheese.
