Description

This Chénas, grown on steep and granite-rich soils, is reminiscent of a Moulin-à-Vent with its deep colour and aromatic bouquet of violets and roses. This is one of the smallest appellations in the Beaujolais. Total vineyard area: 249ha

Winemaking

Traditional vinification with controlled temperature.

Tasting note

The Chénas 2015 offers a nose of cherry and black cherry but also chocolate. On the palate, it is rich with flavours of black fruits with a beautiful lenght.

Suggested food pairings

Wild game, meat dishes with sauce, roasts, charcuterie and cheeses.
