Description

The most southerly of all the crus, Brouilly has good color, backbone and is full-bodied revealing aromas of plums and peaches. The 5.5 hectares Plateau de Bel Air vineyard blends into the rolling landscape of Beaujolais and faces the famous Mont Brouilly. Enjoying an ideal south exposure, the grapes reach a perfect maturity.

Winemaking

Traditional non carbonic vinification with controlled temperature.

Tasting note

The gorgeous rubis color light up our Brouilly "Plateau de Bel Air” 2012. Elegant notes of red fruit perfume the nose. Ample and well-balanced, notes of raspberry and strawberry abound, appearing after a subtle touch of cinnamon. Round on the palate, the attack offers a fine liveliness. The aromas leave a pleasant trail in mouth, coated in lovely molten tannins.
